Join Milwaukee-based Valley Fox for an intimate house-style concert at Depot Hill Creative, the beautiful community art space in Stoughton’s newly renovated historic train depot.
This ticketed event has only 50 seats available. Free tickets can be reserved online.
Optional donations of any amount ($20 per ticket or more recommended) can be made at the event with 100% of donations going to the artists.

Valley Fox is what you get when the three accomplished artists make music together that doesn’t fit neatly into any existing box, so they create their own. Laura Bomber (guitar), Joe Wais (mandolin), and Tori Yocum (upright bass) play individually with other groups in a range of musical styles from folk to Americana to bluegrass; but when they come together as Valley Fox, they take the best from each of those genres and combine it into something fresh, distinctive, and compelling. The songwriting doesn’t serve just to tee up a series of instrumental pyrotechnics: each song has something to say musically and lyrically. You can, to be sure, count on Joe for a stellar mandolin instrumental break here and there, but it’s always in service to the song. And regardless of who’s singing lead or whether two or three vocals are combining on a particular song, their voices blend together in a way that’s something special. It’s no wonder that Valley Fox has a busy schedule of performing at festivals, bars, coffeehouses, and other events and establishments around Wisconsin.
